Using calculator T1 NSpire CX to find the x-intercept

To find the x-intercept
  1. Click New document
  2. Choose option 2: add a graph 
  3. Input the function in the blank
The graph will be generated. If you are not sure with the x-axis and y-axis.
  1. Go to menu
  2. Choose window setting by going to option 4:Window/Zoom
  3. Select option 1:window setting
You can change the scale as you want

To find the x-intercept, we need to analyze the graph 
we need to find the zero which crosses the x-axis
  1. Click menu
  2. Choose option 6:analyze graph
  3. Select option 1 zero
  4. Mouse to the left of the intersecting point, then click it
  5. Mouse to the right, then click it

The selected value will appear.
